After students from both schools introduced themselves, they explored theirinteractive project book and enjoyed fun online quizzes about the Western Galilee and Indiana.
Next, students were split into six breakout rooms, where they engaged in warm, meaningful conversations. It was wonderful to see how naturally they connected.
After the meeting, the teacher from Gvanim said that her students had a fantastic time talking with our 5th graders, and they are already looking forward to our next gathering.
To commemorate Holocaust Remembrance Day, our students participated in a special Escape Quest activity inside the Eureka World virtual environment. Their mission was to solve a series of clues and find a horse and buggy that would help them “escape” from a shtetl occupied by the Nazis. Even our third‑graders rose to the challenge, completing the quest while learning—gently and thoughtfully—about the tragic events of the Holocaust.
Our second graders are very excited to learn how to code. They use one of the best programs for early coding – Codespark, a super fun, award‑winning app and website that helps kids ages 7–10 learn the basics of coding—without using any words! Students solve puzzles, play games, and create their own projects using cute characters called The Foos. As they play, they learn important coding ideas like sequencing, loops, and conditionals, all while having a great time.
Our students have been very excited to explore Meshy.ai, a new AI‑powered tool that can generate 3D models from either a simple text prompt or an uploaded photo. After creating their models, students animated them and imported them into VR projects in Delightex.edu or AR experiences using MyWebAR, bringing their ideas to life in creative and engaging ways.
HHAI 5th Graders recently produced their 4th Episode of the NewsFlash. They creatively work on choosing topics, writing scripts, recording videos and putting them all together using a video editing software!
During Chanukah, our students took part in a special Chanukah Challenge created by our partners at EurekaWorld, Inc. in Israel. Each student entered the virtual world with their own avatar and embarked on an interactive quest. Along the way, they had to “battle” symbolic idols, locate the Maccabee brothers, and advance through a series of engaging missions that brought the Chanukah story to life in a dynamic, game‑based environment.
Our 6th grade students recently had the opportunity to explore Meshy.ai, an innovative web‑based platform that uses Artificial Intelligence to generate 3D models. Using both image‑to‑3D and text‑to‑3D prompts, students created high‑quality models of objects, animals, and even themselves. After generating their models, students imported them into the Delightex.edu coding environment, where they began building their own interactive VR projects. This hands‑on experience allowed them to combine creativity, coding, and emerging AI tools in a meaningful and engaging way.
Meanwhile, my 8th graders have been diving into one of the most exciting Middle School projects: designing their own games with GameMaker—a classic program I first learned about 25 years ago, and it’s still as fun and powerful as ever. They began with a simple “Click Ball” game and have now moved on to building their own “Maze Game.” Once all the games are complete, our younger students will get the chance to play them and experience what our 8th graders have created.
HHAI recently received an amazing technology donation that is helping students and teachers all around the school. Kinetic Advantage donated more than 20 laptops, 16 large monitors, hard drives, HDMI cables, and four printers. These new tools are already being used in classrooms and offices every day.
Students are especially enjoying the new computers in the computer lab. The laptops and dual monitors help with research, coding, writing, and projects.
Our 8th graders helped get the computers ready! They added memory (RAM), cleaned out dust, and made sure everything worked properly.
Another company, Stratosphere Quality, through a HHAI family member, also donated more computers and monitors, which has helped even more students and classrooms.
We are very thankful to Kinetic Advantage and Stratosphere Quality for supporting our school and helping make learning better for everyone!
Elementary School Students Approaching Rosh Hashanah with AI Magic!
In preparation for the upcoming Rosh Hashanah holiday, our elementary students dove into a creative tech-powered project that blended tradition with innovation. Each student selected a favorite public figure and, with the help of artificial intelligence, brought them to life in animated cartoon or anime-style videos—delivering personalized Rosh Hashanah greetings! From pop stars to presidents, the results were imaginative, joyful, and uniquely student-driven. Ready to be amazed? Let’s take a look at their festive creations!
With their second presentation, our talented fourth graders took the spotlight at the Innovation Arcade during ISTE25 Live in San Antonio, TX! They led a hands-on session that left attendees blown away with their knowledge, confidence, and ability to teach some truly unique material.
Seeing our students shine on such a big stage is a powerful reminder of what young minds can do when given the chance. We couldn’t be prouder of their amazing work and brilliance!
Big shoutout to our amazing HHAI fourth graders who proudly represented our school at #ISTE25 Live—the world’s largest EdTech Conference, in San Antonio, TX!
They wowed educators from around the globe with their knowledge, confidence, and innovation. We had a fantastic turnout, and the feedback was glowing.
