On December 9, HHAI 5th Graders met online with their peers from the Gvanim School in Israel to begin the Generation2Generation project directed by ANU – Museum of the Jewish People and Partnership2Gether Western Galilee, with the goal to bridge the gap between grandparents and their grandchildren. During the program, students from both countries will learn about their family origins through their grandparents’ life stories. This is our second year of participating in this meaningful international collaborative program.

Creating a Virtual Menorah in CoSpaces and lighting it in the Mixed Reality
Have you ever lit a Menorah in “Mixed reality”? Our Virtual Menorah was programmed in the HHAI students’ favorite coding app CoSpaces, and last Friday, we tried it out. It wasn’t an easy task, but it was fun! You can try it, too (and the Dreidel game is now included) :
