For the 8th consecutive year we applied to present at the ISTE (International Society for Technology Education) conference. The title for our new ISTE proposal is “Creating and animating AI-generated avatars and programming them to use in various projects”. My students in grades 4 and 5 have already started working on this! They created AI-generated avatars using https://metaperson.avatarsdk.com/, animated them with Adobe Mixamo, combined animations in Blender, and at this time they are programming them in CoSpaces.
Here’s an example of their current assignment. Give it a try:
The third grades have just received their HHAI Google Accounts. They are learning how to use email and Google Docs, and use it responsibly. They have also begun to learn how to build and code in CoSpaces.

The 2nd graders are very excited to begin learning how to type correctly with Typing.com. They will do it for the next four years, and the plan is that by the time they enter Middle school they will become proficient typists!
They also enjoy to continue learning how to code with CodeSpark. Not only they are learning various early coding skills but also they are creating their own games and sharing with the classmates!

It is our second year that we are offering a very special elective, in which students build train tracks and program Intelino Trains with tiles of different colors. Depending on the color combinations these trains perform various actions (moving forward, back, change speed, turn, make sounds, drop wagons, etc). This year, students learned how to edit tiles and create their own tile combinations. The next level would be coding the trains with Scratch.
